Born in England, Ifill spent most of his early football years playing for Millwall, where he notched up over 200 appearances for the Lions before also spending time with Sheffield United and Crystal Palace.
Eligible to play for Barbados due to his parents nationality, Ifill represented the Caribbean nation on ten occasions where he scored a total of six goals including a hat-trick against Anguilla.
