Central Coast Mariners have added Abraham Majok, Jai Ingham, Samuel Silvera and Daniel De Silva to their Hyundai A-League 2019/20 squad as head coach Alen Stajcic plots for the new campaign.
It has been a busy day in Gosford, with the announcement of four departures earlier on Friday, and Stajcic pronounced himself pleased with the club’s dealings during the close season.
“We’re really excited at the recruitment process that we have undertaken so far” he said.

Abraham Majok moved to Australia from Kenya in 2005 and began his NPL career in 2014 playing for Spirit FC. In 2016 he moved to Western Sydney Wanderers youth and was quickly promoted to their Hyundai A-League squad.
The 20-year-old forward scored twice in 18 appearances for Wanderers last season and has signed on a one-year deal.
Speedy winger Jai Ingham makes the move to the Mariners from Melbourne Victory, where he spent the last two seasons.
He struggled for game time with Victory last term, making just four appearances in the Hyundai A-League, although he did find the net in April’s 1-1 draw with Chinese giants Guangzhou in the Asian Champions League.
The 25-year-old New Zealand international joins the Yellow & Navy on a two-year deal as he looks to re-establish himself at the top level.
Young Socceroo Sam Silvera joins the squad on a one-year scholarship deal.
The former Western Sydney Wanderers youth star was part of the successful U20s Championship squad in 2017, taking out the Wanderers Youth Player of the year honours along the way.
Now 18, Silvera is looking forward to beginning his professional career with the Mariners.
Daniel De Silva will be returning to Gosford at the conclusion of his one-year loan deal with Sydney FC, where he played 19 games as part of the squad that won the Championship.
De Silva was the first player to be part of the Hyundai A-League intra-league loan system which came into place in 2018.
Mariners are scheduled to commence their pre-season training on Monday 24 June.
