Australian defender Matt Jurman continued his impressive start to life in Korea with both goals in Suwon Bluewings’ come-from-behind 2-1 win away to Gangwon overnight.
The former Sydney FC man was the unlikely hero for the visitors, heading home a pair of corners either side of half-time.
Jurman towered over his marker for the equaliser after half an hour before steaming onto an in-swinger in the 77th minute to complete a much-needed comeback victory.
The 27-year-old, a former Young Socceroo and Olyroo, has now started Suwon’s past four K-League Classic matches.
While he’s yet to debut at senior international level, Caltex Socceroos boss Ange Postecoglou is a known admirer of Jurman having signed him for Brisbane Roar in 2012.
