Former Roar youngster secures loan move in Germany

Former Brisbane Roar attacker Kwame Yeboah has secured a loan move from Borussia Mönchengladbach to German 3. Liga side SC Paderborn.

Yeboah debuted for Roar as an 18-year old in the Hyundai A-League 2012-13 season, making two brief appearances from the bench.

He played a further ten games in Roar’s double-winning 2013-14 campaign, scoring two goals, including the winner against Central Coast in a 1-0 round five victory.

Midway through that season, Yeboah secured a move to Germany.

In the time since, he has made 53 appearances for the club’s reserve side, scoring 13 goals, and has trained with the first team without breaking into the side.
