Former Adelaide United attacker Sergio Cirio has signed with Spanish outfit UD Ibiza ahead of the 2017/18 season.
THE DEAL
*The Spaniard has signed a one-year deal with UD Ibiza who play in Spain’s third division.
*The 32-year-old returns to Spain after previous stints with CF Badalona, Mallorca B, Orihuela CF, Prat and Hospitalet.
CIRIO’S A-LEAGUE CAREER
*The versatile attacker played four seasons with Adelaide United where he made 99 appearances for the club and netted 20 goals.
*He played the full 90 minutes in the Reds’ 2015/16 Grand Final win over Western Sydney Wanderers.
*He scored the winner in Adelaide’s 2014 FFA Cup Final win over Perth Glory.
