The A-Leagues have announced Macarthur FC’s home clash with Perth Glory at Campbelltown Stadium on Wednesday, January 26 has been postponed due to COVID-19 cases within the Perth Glory camp.
The confirmed COVID cases were identified via either RAT or PCR testing and the players, coaches and staff with positive results are now in isolation and following the relevant health directives in New South Wales.
The Bulls were set to return to action on Wednesday night one month to the day since the club’s last Isuzu UTE A-League fixture: a 3-0 loss to Sydney FC on December 26, 2021.
A statement from the A-Leagues read: “Our primary concern is for the health, wellbeing and safety of all players, staff and their
families.
“All positive cases and those close to them are adhering to relevant state government health directives, in close consultation with the A-Leagues.
“We will continue to work with the clubs on confirming a new schedule for the postponed match as soon as possible.”
