In accordance with APL’s Heat Policy, A-League matches may be delayed or postponed when the Ambient Temperature measures at or above 38 degrees celsius, and/or when the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) measures at 28 degrees celsius or above.
APL’s weather forecast data for ctrl:cyber Pitch on Tuesday indicates that the Ambient Temperature and WBGT are set to be above these measures at the time of kick off (5:00pm).
With this in mind, the decision has been made to reschedule the match to Wednesday 5 February 2025 in keeping with safety threshold measures prescribed within APL’s Heat Policy, and to allow fans and other stakeholders to proactively prepare for this adjusted match date.
