The Red Devils certainly enjoyed the spectacular fireworks and strobe light display which greeted them, and Glory thanked the 50,000 plus supporters in attendance.

Glory may have gone down to a 2-0 defeat without a number of their key players, but those who were not playing were watching intently.

It will be a night to remember forever in the Popovic household as Perth head coach Tony gave a run out to his teenage sons Kristian, 17, and Gabriel, 15.

And United’s players were quick to show the city of Perth some love for their experience Down Under.

It was not just United’s players who were enjoying the show, Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalot’s family were also in town.

But it’s not all about the players, fans of Glory and United came together to enjoy the spectacle.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka may go on to have a big career in the red of Manchester, and this Red Devils supporter may reminisce about the first time the right-back pulled on a United jersey.

Another fan was blown away by the stunning Welcome to Country which opened proceedings on a magical evening in the City of Lights.
