FIFA 19 ratings revealed: Top 50 Hyundai A-League players

It’s the moment all Hyundai A-League fans and gamers have been waiting for.

EA Sports have revealed their FIFA 19 player ratings and now we know which Hyundai A-League stars we’ll be selecting to challenge our mates and pull off our favourite tricks and skills with.

The big news is that Melbourne Victory’s newest superstar Keisuke Honda tops the list of overall ratings with a score of 78, a dribble rating of 81 and a passing rating of 80.

There are, however, some newcomers who are yet to feature. The likes of Melbourne Victory’s Dutch forward Ola Toivonen, Perth Glory defensive duo Matthew Spiranovic and Jason Davidson are still in the process of being assessed.

Here’s how the top players rank in each category.

Pace to burn

o'halloran

Topping the list of speed demons is Melbourne City’s Michael O’Halloran, with pace of 93, although a certain Central Coast Mariners triallist may be hoping to eclipse that rating should Usain Bolt be signed.

Sydney FC’s Trent Buhagiar comes in at 92, with Roy Krishna of Wellington Phoenix at 91, while Western Sydney Wanderer Bruce Kamau and Mariner Connor Pain are both at 90.

Shooting boots

Siem De Jong

Sky Blues star Siem de Jong is the man you want to taking aim with. The Dutch maestro rates 77 with his shooting boots, ahead of City striker Bruno Fornaroli (74) and Victory dangerman Honda (73).

Spanish stars Diego Castro and Western Sydney Wanderers’ Oriol Riera are next in line at 72.

Pass masters

Honda

Japanese playmaker Honda top the list of best distributors as well at 80, followed up by Sydney’s Milos Ninkovic, 73, and Perth Glory schemer Castro at 72.

On the run

Does this mean Honda is set to take over the Hyundai A-League? EA Sports seem to think so. The Victory attacker leads the dribble ranks as 81, ahead of Glory’s Castro on 80. Brisbane Roar’s Eric Bautheac, Ninkovic and Krishna follow up at 76.

Tough tackling

Alex Wilkinson

Don’t forget the defenders! This game isn’t all about slick skills you know.

Alex Wilkinson is the defender to avoid taking on. The Sydney FC stopper comes in with a defence rating of 71 with Wanderer and Caltex Socceroo Josh Risdon ranked at 70. Hyundai A-League new boys Georg Neidermeier of Victory and Sydney’s Jop van der Linden tally up at 69.
