The Johnny Warren Medal will be awarded to the most outstanding individual performer of the 2020/21 A-League season on Wednesday night, as the virtual Dolan Warren Awards take place from 7.30pm AEST.
There’s a trio of sparkling midfielders in contention for the award this year as the creators took centre stage in 2020/21.
Fans can watch the show via the A-League and Westfield W-League Facebook pages, My Football YouTube channel, and the My Football Live App on Wednesday evening, 23 June at 7:30pm (AEST).
The Dolan Warren awards will also be available to watch on Kayo Sports at the conclusion of the live show.

Ulises Dávila – Wellington Phoenix
Seven goals and seven assists across 23 games for Wellington Phoenix made Ulises Dávila a prime asset to Ufuk Talay’s side in 2020/21.
The Mexican will depart the Phoenix after his second stellar season running. Dávila captained his side through the 2020/21 campaign and led by example, creating 51 chances for his side whilst finishing equal-second on Wellington’s list of top scorers.

Alessandro Diamanti – Western United
Alessandro Diamanti finished the regular season with the most assists of any individual player (nine), beating Craig Noone and Corey Brown who ended the campaign tied on eight apiece.
The Italian was a standout performer in a Western United side which failed to make the Finals Series in the club’s second A-League campaign. Diamanti added one goal to his name throughout the campaign and created 70 chances, the third-most of any player league-wide, spotting passes no other player could see to deliver opportunities aplenty for United attackers to feast on.

Miloš Ninković – Sydney FC
Another season, and another brilliant showing from Sydney FC’s star midfielder.
Miloš Ninković has played 26 times for the second-place finishers so far this season, helping his side win 13 games and draw eight on their way to booking a place in the Grand Final. The Serbian will hope to feature in the title decider but questions remain over his fitness after he missed the Semi Final through injury.
Ninković produced four goals and four assists throughout 2020/21, creating 32 chances and passing at 87.6% accuracy within the final third.
