Sydney FC v Perth Glory

Sydney’s unbeaten run at the start of the Hyundai A-League season has stretched to eight matches (W4 D4); their previous longest unbeaten run at the start of a campaign was five games in 2008/09.

It is the Sky Blues’ longest unbeaten run since also going eight without defeat from January to February 2011.

Sydney has not gone undefeated in nine Hyundai A-League games since October 2006 to New Year’s Day 2007.

Last week’s game at Brisbane marked Perth’s first draw since a trip to Wellington on 9th March. 

Glory have taken 19 points from eight Hyundai A-League matches this term, their best ever start to a season.

The last four meetings between the sides have seen two wins apiece, with each of the games settled by a one-goal margin.

Perth Glory are unbeaten in five Hyundai A-League matches heading into this fixture (W4 D1).

Glory have mustered just one clean sheet across their last 20 Hyundai A-League matches.

Having scored four goals in his first two appearances for Perth Glory, Andy Keogh has managed just one in six games since then.

Central Coast Mariners v Melbourne Victory

Victory are unbeaten in three against the Mariners, winning the last two each by 3-1 score lines (D1).

CCM have kept clean sheets in four of their last six home games against the Victoria side, though they have taken this game on the road to North Sydney.

Central Coast are currently winless in seven Hyundai A-League matches (D3 L4).

Three of CCM’s four defeats this term have come in home matches.

Victory are unbeaten this season, never before have they gone their opening eight Hyundai A-League games in a single season without defeat.

Central Coast Mariners have a passing accuracy of 82.89 percent; a Hyundai A-League-high.

Three of the last four goals scored for Melbourne Victory have been own goals.

Ben Khalfallah has been involved in the last three goals bagged by a Melbourne Victory player (two goals and one assist).

Newcastle Jets v Wellington Phoenix

None of the last seven Hyundai A-League games in Newcastle between the sides have produced a draw.

The NSW side remains winless this season (D4 L4), their previous longest wait for a win at the start of the season was seven games (2006/07).

Indeed, this sequence marks Newcastle’s longest run of matches without a win in a single season of the Hyundai A-League.

Wellington’s last draw came on 16 March 2014, since then they have won four and lost eight Hyundai A-League games.

The New Zealand side’s haul of 12 points from a possible 24 is their best total after eight games of a Hyundai A-League season.

Both teams have netted in each of Newcastle’s four draws this season and despite remaining winless, the Jets have scored in all but two of their Hyundai A-League matches so far.

Newcastle Jets have mustered a Hyundai A-League-low 49 shots this campaign.

Roy Krishna (Wellington Phoenix) has the best shot conversion rate (66.67percent) of any player to have scored at least twice this term.

City have not kept a clean sheet since 1st March 2014, since then they have won just one of 14 Hyundai A-League games.

Only once before have the Victorian side endured a worse start to a Hyundai A-League campaign and that was last season when they went 14 games without a win from.

None of the last seven Hyundai A-League games between these sides have produced a draw, with City winning four of in this sequence.

Since their first meeting in 2010, this fixture has averaged three goals per game over 13 instances.

Melbourne City have failed to win any of their last seven home games (D3 L4).

Brisbane Roar have conceded just one goal across their last three away games.
