Ingham and D’Agostino released by Roar

Nick D’Agostino and Dane Ingham have terminated their contracts with Brisbane Roar by mutual agreement with the club.

Roar confirmed the news on Tuesday following the signing of Scottish defender Tom Aldred, who became coach Robbie Fowler’s second capture as Roar boss.

Sydney-born forward D’Agostino, 21, had been on Brisbane’s books for four seasons and made 35 appearances, scoring three goals.

He was part of Graham Arnold’s Australia U23 squad for Cambodia’s AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers earlier this year and scored both goals in the 2-2 draw with Korea Republic.

Ingham, 20, made his Roar debut aged just 17 years and five months in Brisbane’s AFC Champions League qualifier against Global Makati, of the Philippines, in January 2017.

The New Zealand right-back – who has been capped four times by the All Whites – made 19 appearances in three seasons for Roar.

Brisbane are set to announce six further new signings this week as Fowler prepares for the start of Roar’s pre-season training next week.
