The average for the season was an impressive 13,024 across the 27 rounds and 135 games this campaign.
The figure is the second best average attendance in the nine seasons of the A-League, just behind the 14,612 average in 2007/’08.
It also continues an impressive growth over the last few seasons.
The average attendance last season was 12,556, compared to 10,494 in 2011/’12 and just 8459 the season before that (2010/11).

This included a Queensland derby between Gold Coast and Brisbane as well as all Sydney clashes between Manly and Cronulla and Parramatta and the Sydney Roosters.
Crowds for the Hyundai A-League finals are expected to be big starting with Friday night-s clash between Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC at Etihad.
