Melbourne City FC has announced it has released five players following the conclusion of the club’s 2014/15 Hyundai A-League campaign.
Damien Duff, Rob Wielaert, Iain Ramsay and Mate Dugandzic will not be remaining with John van’t Schip’s squad for the upcoming season.
Kew Jaliens, who joined the club mid-season on a short-term injury replacement contract, has also been released.
Captain Patrick Kisnorbo has agreed a one-year extension with the club and will return for the 2015/16 season.
National Youth League product Paulo Retre, 22, has also secured a one-year extension to his existing contract.
