And the 26-year-old is likely to come up against the man who’s a great of the Hyundai A-League, reigning Johnny Warren medallist Thomas Broich.
What a contest that will be. And what a clash with around 12 World Cup stars set to appear in the touring squad of the Italian powerhouse.
Isla played against the Socceroos’ in their opening group game clash in Cuiaba last month, part of a classy Chile that won 3-1.
The Chileans progressed through Group B and could’ve so easily have beaten Brazil in the round of 16.
Mauricio Pinilla’s last minute shot cannoning off the bar and heartbreak in the penalty shootout ensued.
Isla played a full game against Neymar and Co, underlining his class at the highest level.
