Central Coast Mariners sign winger Ali Auglah

Central Coast Mariners have signed winger Ali Auglah from NPL side Sydney Olympic.

Auglah starred in the inaugural Australian Championship competition, scoring in every game he played to finish top scorer with six goals.

The Iraqi is no stranger to the A-League, having come through Western Sydney Wanderers’ junior ranks – and making one appearance in the senior side – and having had a stint at Macarthur between 2022 and 2024.

The Mariners expect Auglah to bring pace and creativity to the Central Coast, as well the eye for goal that saw him thrive in the Australian Championship.

“We are super excited to bring Ali into our men’s team,” CCM CEO Greg Brownlow said on the club’s Instagram.

“Ali is an exciting, dynamic player who’s scoring abilities were on show in a huge way during the Championships.

“We can’t wait to see him on the pitch causing havoc to oppositions as a mighty Mariner.”
