The Hyundai A-League season is underway this weekend with the Westfield W-League to follow later this month.

HYUNDAI A-LEAGUE
I’ve gone Premiers Adelaide United and Champions Sydney FC.
The Reds have looked really good in the FFA Cup so far and Marco Kurz has got them fit and firing.
They’ve made some smart, astute signings.
I’m going on my gut feel with new signings we haven’t seen yet and a lot of mystery around what they’re capable of versus what their resume says.
The teams who are outside the top six have also recruited well to lift themselves into finals contention, too but for me it’s Adelaide and Sydney.
WESTFIELD W-LEAGUE
It’s been Melbourne City the last two years but I think Perth will definitely give them a nudge.
It’s those two sides for me.
It’s pretty exciting with the success of the Matildas and how well these women are going.
I’m completely pumped with double headers on Fridays and 27 games which is a lot more than last season.
It’s a really exciting competition for the girls.
