GK – Ante Covic (Western Sydney Wanderers)
Once again, a model of consistency for Western Sydney. The backbone of a solid defence and has kept nine clean sheets this season, the most out of any in the A-League this season.
RB – Ivan Franjic (Brisbane Roar)
Established himself as the Socceroos starting right back with a string of stellar performances for the Roar. Provides great width and support going forward.
CB – Jade North(Brisbane Roar)
Again another player from the minor premiers but has proven to be a class above in a defence which at times has been saved by its devastating attack
CB – Nikolai Topor Stanley (Western Sydney Wanderers)
A second straight All Stars appearance for Topor-Stanley looms after another stellar season at the back for the Wanderers. Has proven to be able to play with a different partner in defence each and every week.
LB – Aziz Behich (Melbourne Heart)
My bolter for the team. The Heart may have finished last but Behich provided a threat on a weekly basis, like Franjic is a more of an attacking player will provide plenty of excitement for fans.
CM – Matt McKay (Brisbane Roar)
The heart and soul of the minor premiers, McKay will go down as one of the greatest midfielders in A-League history.
CM – Mark Milligan (Melbourne Victory)
This was very tough to split with Orlando Engelaar but Milligan makes a such difference to the Victory side. When he went down with injury they struggled but with him in the side they are one of best sides in the competition.
RM – Marcelo Carrusca (Adelaide United)
The Argentine has been simply sublime as part of the Josep Gombau revolution in Adelaide. Has scored six goals this season and set up plenty.
LM – James Troisi – (Melbourne Victory)
After returning home from a long spell in Europe, Troisi has scored 12 goals and looms as a bolter for the World Cup squad.
ST – Alessandro Del Piero (Sydney FC)
The perfect farewell for the Italian magician.
ST – Adam Taggart (Newcastle Jets)
What a revelation he has been for the Jets, banged in goals at will this season with 16 in total to win the Golden Boot.
