He’s on fire in the Hyundai A-League and Wellington Phoenix striker Roy Krishna will be hoping to continue his fine form when Fiji meet Mauritius on Sunday.
The game at Churchill Park in the Fijian city of Lautoka will serve as the final match of a three-nations tournament with New Caledonia the other participant.

Fiji beat their Oceania rivals 3-0 on Monday and with Mauritius seeing them off 3-1, Sunday’s match looms as the deciding tie.
Speaking to the Oceania Football Confederation, Krishna said his teammates were hoping for a big turnout.
“I urge fans to come out in numbers and motivate the boys,” Krishna said.
“It is going to be a tough match. The guys who played against New Caledonia on Monday deserves a big crowd support and hopefully we will see Fijian colours on Sunday.”
The Nix striker has knocked in a career-high 15 goals this campaign and has clearly been transformed under the Mark Rudan renaissance.
Despite being the standout player in his national set-up, Krishna said Fiji had to play as a team in order to come away with a result against Les Dodos.
“I have seen some players in their side who have individual quality but we can overcome them if we play as a team.
“We will stick to our game plan against the Dodos and for sure we will come out with 3 points.”
Fiji, nicknamed the Bula Boys, have a FIFA ranking of 169 and will use this tournament as vital preparation ahead of their 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying campaign which is set to commence later this year.
