Sydney FC striker Caitlin Foord’s brilliant individual goal against Western Sydney Wanderers has been voted as January’s best goal by Westfield W-League fans.
The Westfield Matildas star did it all on her own for this one, producing a mazy run past a couple of Wanderers defenders before firing an unstoppable 25-yard effort into the back of the net.

It was a wonderful piece of individual skill from Foord to help her side to a crushing 3-0 win over the city rivals.
Fans gave Foord 50% of the vote, to beat out Brisbane Roar’s Yuki Nagasato’s curling effort against Canberra United.
