Defender Jordy Buijs is the latest former Sydney FC star to find a new club, announcing his signing with J-League outfit V-Varen Nagasaki.
Buijs left the Sky Blues at the end of the 2017/18 Season after 18 trophy-laden months with the club.

Joining midway through the 2016/17 campaign, Buijs played a key role in the side clinching the double that season, including the dramatic grand final win over Melbourne Victory on penalties.
Last season the 29-year-old helped Sydney FC win the FFA Cup for the first time, while they retained their Premiers’ Plate title after another dominant regular season.
