The Brisbane home game has been moved to Melbourne after the terrible weather
With the terrible weather that’s pounding Queensland at the moment, the week 10 Westfield W-League match between Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory has been moved from Brisbane to Melbourne.
The pitch has been deemed unplayable and as Brisbane is continuing to suffer the situation will not be any better by the weekend. All alternatives were looked at and as it’s so close to the finals the FFA has decided to move the fixture to Melbourne as this is the only possibility at such a late stage.
It will now be played at Epping Stadium in Melbourne on Sunday the 16th January with kick-off set to be at 3PM AEST.
All takings from the game will be donated to the Queensland Flood Appeal
