All eyes were on AAMI Park as Melbourne Victory hosted Perth Glory to conclude Round 2 of the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 Season.
And fans were treated to a classic Sunday evening contest. Joel Chianese and Andy Keogh fired Perth into a 2-0 half time advantage, but a stunner from Terry Antonis and Storm Roux’s late equaliser brought Victory level.
However, Christopher Ikonimidis’ stoppage time strike handed Perth a stunning victory in stoppage time.
Earlier in the day, honours were shared at Suncorp Stadium as Brisbane Roar and Wellington Phoenix drew 0-0.
