Brisbane Roar appoint new Football Director

Brisbane Roar FC have appointed Pedj Radinovic as the club’s new Football Director.

He joins from Football Federation Australia (FFA) where for six years he headed Compliance across the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League.

His role included managing compliance of the clubs’ salary cap, player contracting and registration system, international player transfers and the AFC’s club licensing system.

Radinovic has extensive experience in player contracting, operations, strategic planning and has an intimate knowledge of FIFA, FFA and Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League regulations.

Roar head coach John Aloisi said: “We are pleased to welcome Pedj to our football club and I’m looking forward to working closely with him over the coming months.

“Pedj has a wealth of experience in football, first-hand knowledge of the Hyundai A-League competition and a unique skillset.

“I’m confident he will be an excellent addition to our football department and administration.”

Radinovic said: “Brisbane Roar is one of the most successful clubs in the history of the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League and still has a massive potential of growth ahead of it, which is evidenced by the recent successful launch of their academy.

“I am extremely grateful for the experiences gained at the FFA and the support I have from them to take the next step in my career with the Roar.

“I am excited by the challenge and the opportunity to work with John and his football department in helping the club achieve their potential.”

Radinovic will officially commence in early March.
