Brisbane Roar FC Managing Director Sean Dobson today announced the appointment of former international Dutch footballer Frans Thijssen as Brisbane Roar FC interim Head Coach.
Thijssen replaces former Brisbane Roar Head Coach Mike Mulvey.
Thijssen’s appointment is effective immediately and he will conduct his first training session with the Hyundai A-League 2013/14 Premiers and Champions on Tuesday morning.
“Brisbane Roar FC believe Frans Thijssen’s background and experience will be a significant asset to the club,” Dobson said.
‘’The Brisbane Roar FC board have every confidence Frans Thijssen will inject new vigour into the team and Brisbane Roar’s Hyundai A-League title defence.”
