Roar return to roots with new 2018/19 kit

Brisbane Roar have announced new kits for the upcoming Hyundai A-League 2018/19 campaign.

The Queensland club launched the playing kits at the club’s new City of Logan training facility on Wednesday night, which saw a Jack Hingert XI prevail on penalties against an Eric Bautheac XI in a unique friendly.

Roar have returned to a predominately orange and black kit for the upcoming season, a style which has become synonymous with success at the club.

Roar have also released an alternative grey kit to be used throughout both upcoming Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League campaigns.

“BRFC’s rich history is built on strong foundations and key traditions. It is pleasing therefore that all Roar sides will return to the predominantly orange and black home jersey during season 2018/19,” BRFC Managing Director, David Pourre said.

“Orange with black will always be at the heart of our football club.

“Thank you to Umbro for their assistance in making this possible. I believe our members, fans, and the local football community will embrace this change and wear these kits with pride and passion at every opportunity.”

Brisbane’s Hyundai A-League side will, for the first time in 2018/19, feature the branding of new Principal Partner, ActronAir (front-of-shirt) and Platinum Partner, BBC Painting (back-of-shirt).

Brisbane Airport Corporation will once again be placed front and centre on Mel Andreatta’s Premiership-winning Roar Westfield W-League kits, while long-time supporters and Platinum Partner Luxury Paints continue their support of the club as back-of-shirt sponsors.
