Pedj Bojic is set to leave the Central Coast Mariners after the club released him from his contract, paving the way for move to Sydney FC.
Bojic, one of the Mariners most consistent players in their title-winning season, approached the club’s management in recent weeks wishing to terminate the final year of his contract.
The club held talks with the 29-year-old fullback in a bid to keep him in Gosford but announced today that he will be released upon the team-s return to Australia on Friday.
Bojic joined the Mariners in 2008 and has been a constant figure in the club-s first team over the past five years.
