Sydney FC’s Brazilian ace Bobo has set a new regular season goals record in the Hyundai A-League.
The Sky Blues hitman scored a first-half brace against Perth Glory to take his season’s tally to 24, taking him past Melbourne City striker Bruno Fornaroli (23) in the 2015/16 season.

It’s been a record-breaking campaign for Bobo, who earlier this season became the first Sydney FC player to score 20 goals in a Hyundai A-League campaign.
He also became the fastest player to get to 20 goals in a season, doing it in 20 matches.
Even with three rounds to play, Bobo will finish with this season’s golden boot, currently 10 goals clear of the next best Ross McCormack, who is no longer at City.
Fellow Sydney FC import Adrian Mierzejewski is third with 13 goals.
With another couple of rounds still to play for the Sky Blues, how many can the brilliant Brazilian finish with?
