Berisha’s departure from the Hyundai A-League was made official late last week.
The Kosovo Albanian forward registered 116 goals and clinched four Hyundai A-League Championships during his eight-year tenure in Australia.
He’ll now lead the line for J-League outfit Sanfrecce, who currently lead the Japanese top flight by nine points after 15 games.
“I am very pleased to have the chance to play Sanfrecce Hiroshima,” Berisha told Sanfreece Hiroshima’s official website.
“I am also looking forward to meeting my new team mates and at a club with a rich history and wonderful fans.
“I hope I can score a lot of goals to help contribute to Sanfrecce winning many trophies.”
