Melbourne Victory match-winner Besart Berisha says Sydney FC’s regular season supremacy will matter little when the two go head-to-head in next Sunday’s mouth-watering Hyundai A-League Grand Final.
Berisha led Kevin Muscat’s men to a second Big Blue decider in three seasons as his lone second half goal proved enough in a cagey semi final win over Brisbane Roar.

While Victory will head to Allianz Stadium as outsiders, their record-breaking goalscorer is confident of upsetting the premiers.
“[Sydney] can think they are favourites which is okay. No problem for us,” Berisha told Fox Sports.
“We are ready, we have a good team and we believe in each other. We go with big motivation up there.”
Just a fortnight after becoming the first player to reach 100 Hyundai A-League goals, Berisha extended his incredible Finals Series record by scoring in a sixth straight knockout clash on Sunday.
And the 31-year-old clearly relishes the chance to deliver on the big stage.
“Since day one when I came to Australia they told me the finals are the most important so make sure you’re ready,” the Kosovo international said with a smile.
“I have to adapt to the Australian lifestyle. They love Grand Finals, they love this in every sport in Australia.
“I know finals are very unique and it’s all about which team on the day is the better team and has the better mentality.”
