#BeautifulGame moments: Winter Wanderland

Few will forget the scenes that greeted fans at Pirtek Stadium for last season’s Round 27 clash between Western Sydney and Perth Glory.

Kick-off in the final match of the 2014/15 Hyundai A-League season for both sides was delayed for almost an hour after a hail storm swept through Parramatta, leaving the pitch at the Wanderers’ home ground looking more like an ice rink.

A second half strike from Glory’s former marquee Andy Keogh settled the contest after Liam Youlley had cancelled out Jamie Maclaren’s opener but it was the snow covered stadium that will long live in the memory.

The two sides will meet again for the first time since that freakish afternoon on Tuesday night, when Glory host the Wanderers for a place in the Westfield FFA Cup semi-finals.

What better way to break the ice on the conversation as to who will win through than by watching the video above!
