Auckland FC tore Wellington Phoenix to shreds in a dominant first-half performance at Go Media Stadium, scoring three unanswered goals to lead 3-0 at the break.
Wellington began the New Zealand Derby brightly but Auckland finished the first half in a flurry.
Neyder Moreno scored a five-minute brace to put the Black Knights two goals ahead before Logan Rogerson struck on the 40-minute mark to extend the home side’s lead to three goals.

“Wellington are falling apart!” Said Sky Sports commentator Jason Pine as Rogerson’s close-range header hit the back of the net.
“Auckland FC are in complete cruise control, and Logan Rogerson, an uncontested header at the far post. There is daylight between these two sides now.
“It’s a scarcely believable scoreline, really.”
