Antonis, who enjoyed a breakout season with the Sky Blues apears t have drawn the attention of European scouts.
The 18-year-old could be seen as a replacement for star Moenchengladbach attacking midfielder Marco Reus, a sensation who has agreed terms with Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund.
If Antonis signs with Moenchengladbach he will join fellow Australian Mathew Leckie, who arrived from Adelaide United at the end of last season and Sydney FC would be likely to receive in excess of $1 million for the teenager.
Sydney FC announced all parties will discuss Antonis’s future upon his return to Sydney.
