Canberra United head coach Antoni Jagarinec has claimed the Ninja A-League March Coach of the Month award after a fan vote.
Jagarinec claimed Coach of the Month honours with a majority share of the fan vote, beating Adelaide United’s Adrian Stenta, Melbourne City’s Michael Matricciani and Melbourne Victory’s Jeff Hopkins to win the April award.

Australian Professional Leagues (APL) partnered with FCA in 2022-23 to give fans a crucial say in recognising outstanding coaching performances across both the Ninja A-League Women and Isuzu UTE A-League Men.
The FCA assembled an experienced panel that select the monthly nominees for Coach of the Month in both leagues; a fan vote then decides the winner from the monthly nominees.
The April eligibility period included Rounds 21-23 of the Ninja A-League season, with games between March 28 and April 20 considered by the FCA voting panel.
Jagarinec oversaw three games in the eligibility period, and registered three wins as Canberra surged to the Finals Series.
Unfortunately for Canberra and Jagarinec, a 2-1 Elimination Final loss to Central Coast Mariners meant the end of the journey in 2024-25.

But Jagarinec will look back fondly at his first season in charge of the club, having taken Canberra back to the Finals Series after a one-year hiatus, and winning three Coach of the Month awards throughout the campaign in November, January and April.
