Andrezinho, Glory part ways

Perth Glory have failed to agree to terms with winger Andrezinho, with the Brazilian set to leave the club at the end of April.

Perth Glory have failed to agree to terms with winger Andrezinho, with the Brazilian set to leave the club at the end of April.

The attacker, 27, made 25 appearances for the A-League runners-up, scoring two goals and always looking a constant threat down the left hand side.

Glory coach Ian Ferguson said Andrezinho’s departure could be the first of many from Perth.

“Andre did well for us this season and we wish him all the best,” Ferguson said on Tuesday.

“With the budget cuts for next season, it’s going to be difficult to keep all the players together.”

Andrezinho, who signed for Perth in August last year, and Glory failed to agree on a new one-year deal.
