Semi-Final Ins & Outs: Matildas defender ruled out as club outlines potential return date

The teams are IN ahead of the return legs of two Liberty A-League Semi-Finals, with both Sydney FC and Melbourne City in command of their respective ties.

City lead Newcastle Jets 3-0 after the first leg of their Semi-Final but will be without Matildas full-back Karly Roestbakken, who suffered an ankle injury in the first half of last weekend’s finals clash.

Roestbakken is targeting a Grand Final return should City progress past Newcastle in the second leg of their Semi-Final tie, the club confirmed.

Read on for all the team news ahead of this weekend’s two Semi-Finals.
