Daisy Brown scored a hat-trick in fifteen minutes to help Brisbane to a hefty win over the Jets and lift the Roar into the playoff places.
Daisy Brown opened the scoring just after half time and had secured her hat-trick by the 62nd minute. Bente Jansen added a fourth before Newcastle pulled back two consolation goals through Natasha Prior and Sophie Hoban.
The win takes Brisbane up into sixth and amongst the playoff places while Newcastle remain in ninth.
