Macarthur Bulls have added some creativity to their ranks ahead of the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League season with the signing of Scottish winger Kai Kennedy.
The 24-year-old arrives from Scottish League One side Queen of the South having also featured for Rangers and Falkirk.
Across his career, Kennedy has made 196 appearances in the Scottish leagues, scoring 26 goals and providing 43 assists. He has also represented Scotland at Under-21 level.

The attacking winger becomes the latest addition to the Bulls’ squad and is expected to add creativity and flair to Macarthur’s forward line.
Speaking after completing his move to Australia, Kennedy said he was excited to begin the next chapter of his career.
“I’m buzzing to sign for the Bulls,” Kennedy said, after putting pen-to-paper on a new deal.
“Moving from Scotland to Sydney is a massive step for me, and I’m really grateful for the opportunity.
“It’s an exciting new chapter, and I can’t wait to get started, meet everyone at the club, and play in front of the fans.
“The chance to move to Sydney and experience a new culture was something I couldn’t pass up. It’s a great opportunity for me both on and off the pitch.
“I wanted to challenge myself in a different environment, keep developing as a player, and be part of a club that’s heading in the right direction. It felt like the perfect move at the right time.”
Kennedy believes Bulls supporters will enjoy the style of football he brings to the side.
“Fans can expect an exciting, positive player who always wants to get on the ball and make things happen. I’m a left winger who likes to take defenders on, create chances, and contribute with goals and assists.”
“Most importantly, I’ll work hard for the team every game and give everything I have for the badge.”
Kennedy joins a new-look Macarthur side that now contains the likes of former Central Coast Mariners defender Nathan Paull and former Melbourne Victory striker Jing Reec, whilst Premiership and Australia Cup winning Newcastle Jets pair Ben Gibson and Kosta Grozos have also joined, as has attacker Connor Pain.
