Adelaide United have strengthened their attacking unit ahead of the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League season, signing winger Jacob Brazete on a three-year deal with the option of a further season.
The 20-year-old arrives from Brisbane Roar after making 25 appearances across the past two seasons.
A right-footed attacker capable of playing on either flank, Brazete enjoyed a breakout 2024/25 campaign, highlighted by a stunning long-range strike against Adelaide in a 1-1 draw at Coopers Stadium.

Brazete has already been training with the Reds during pre-season and said Adelaide’s style of play made the move an easy decision.
“Adelaide play a really beautiful, free-flowing and progressive attacking style of football, and as an attacking player, that’s all you could really wish for, so I am so excited to be here,” Brazete said.

“Since scoring my first A-League goal here, Coopers has always had a profound place in my heart.
“It’s going to be really cool to walk out there in the red shirt and hopefully recreate those moments, but ones the whole stadium can enjoy.
“I know I can do big things for the Club and be an integral part of the squad. I want to win trophies, take the fans out of their seats and work hard to see what we can achieve.”
Adelaide United Football Director Mitch van Gellekom believes Brazete has the attributes to continue his development at the club.
“At Adelaide United, we don’t just recruit players for what they are today. We recruit them for what they can become. We see every signing as the beginning of a development journey, and Jacob is a player we believe has significant upside,” said van Gellekom.

“He already has valuable A-League experience, but more importantly he has the mentality to keep improving.

Brazete will wear the No.21 shirt for Adelaide United in the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
