The National Youth League clash between AIS and Adelaide United was called off after an hour due to deteriorating weather conditions.
Adelaide United were leading 4-1 after 61 minutes of action at AIS Athletics Track, but heavy rain in the Canberra area made the pitch unplayable as a paddling of ducks made their way across the pitch.
The referee had no option but to cancel the remainder of the game with the safety of the players under risk.
Allan Welsh had given Adelaide a 1-0 lead after eight minutes, before Awer Mabil doubled their advantage four minutes later.
Dion Kirk made it 3-0 on 15 minutes and Welsh netted his brace shortly after as Adelaide shot out to a 4-0 advantage.
Michael Taurasi did get a goal back for AIS just after the half hour mark, but the conditions made scoring tough from that point on.
