Adelaide United coach Guillermo Amor will have to wait to see if he will face further sanction following an incident in the Reds’ Round 7 loss to Perth Glory.
The Championship winning coach was expelled from the match at nib Stadium by the referee following his second-half reaction to a Glory goal.
Amor subsequently served a mandatory one match suspension handed down by the Match Review Panel for behavior constituting unsporting conduct towards a match official and the incident was also referred to FFA’s independent Disciplinary and Ethics Committee.
At a hearing in Sydney tonight the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee convened to decide what additional sanction should apply, if any, over and above the mandatory match suspension which Amor served against Sydney FC on Saturday night.
The Committee have reserved their determination.
