Newcastle Jets will host a doubleheader on Tuesday as the A-Leagues announced a fixture update in the Isuzu UTE A-League and Liberty A-League.
The ongoing schedule challenges as a result of COVID-19 saw the postponement of defending champions Melbourne Victory’s A-League Men clash with Perth Glory.
Newcastle – ninth in the table – will now welcome sixth-placed City to McDonald Jones Stadium as part of a doubleheader across the Isuzu UTE A-League and Liberty A-League.
Tuesday’s action will kick-off between the Jets and fourth-placed Melbourne Victory in the A-League Women.
Meanwhile, FFA Cup champions Victory and bottom side Wellington Phoenix will go head-to-head at WIN Stadium in the ALM on Wednesday.
Victory are third in the standings – four points adrift of Western United but with two games in hand.
