Vote for your A-Leagues All Stars squads NOW: Everything you need to know

Here’s your chance to help pick who will represent the A-Leagues All Stars Men and Women in their historic double-header on Friday, 24 May. This is how the process will work and how you can cast your vote.

As the A-Leagues All Stars return in 2024, so too does the chance for fans to help select who will represent them against the likes of English giants Newcastle United and Arsenal Women.

From today, fans have the opportunity to vote* for their ideal men’s and/ or women’s squads, which will contribute towards the final selection made by the coaches and A-Leagues Commissioner.

The A-League All Stars Women’s squad will consist of 19 players and be subject to injury and availability, while the initial A-League All Stars Men’s squad will consist of 23-26 players, with a final squad of 18-20 players selected subject to injury, availability and participation in the 2024 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s Grand Final.

Fans will be able to vote for 15 players in each squad with voting allowed for:

  • 1 Goalkeeper
  • 4 Defenders
  • 3 Midfielders 
  • 3 Forwards
  • 4 Additional Rising Stars (Under-23)

“Allowing our fans the opportunity to play a role in the selection of each squad is a crucial aspect of the All Stars concept – we love their passion for the game and the stars they watch each week.

“The excitement for the 2024 All Stars matches is already growing and we can’t wait to get fans’ feedback and announce the squads in the coming weeks.”

The entire A-Leagues All Stars Men’s and Women’s teams are ultimately selected by the coaching staff. However, they will take into consideration players with highest fan votes, with the decision on the final squad made by coaches and the APL Commissioner.

Voting for the A-Leagues All Stars Men’s and Women’s squads will close on April 15, 2024, allowing fans three weeks to submit their votes.

Tickets for the double-header featuring A-League All Stars Men v Newcastle United followed by A-League All Stars Women v Arsenal Women will go on sale this week with pre-sale for A-Leagues club members to go on sale on Wednesday 27 March, 2024 at 2pm, and for general sale on Thursday 28 March, 2024 at midday via Ticketek.
