Western Sydney Wanderers have signed Dylan Pierias ahead of the 2023-24 Isuzu UTE A-League season as he reunites with Marko Rudan.
An A-League Men Champion at Western United, Pierias makes the move to Western Sydney on a two-year deal.
It also means a reunion for the 23-year-old, who worked with Rudan as a foundation player at Western United from 2019 to 2021.

“I’ve worked with the Boss (head coach Marko Rudan) before and I was really excited when he called me to come across,” said Pierias.
“It was almost a no-brainer for me to work under him again. Obviously, the Wanderers members and fans too, seeing them every week and the RBB just looks like such an amazing atmosphere so I’ve always thought I’d love to play in front of that.
“I’m originally from Melbourne, but from the West. So being a Westie, having all those values made me want to come across.”
Pierias, who made his A-League Men debut as a 16-year-old for Melbourne City in 2017, amassed 22 appearances and scored two goals for John Aloisi’s Western United in 2022-23.
During his time at the club, he featured in 94 games and scored 10 goals.
He is Western Sydney’s second signing following the arrival of Lachlan Brook after the Wanderers reached the finals for the first time since 2016-17.
“Dylan is a fantastic young man and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to work with him again over the next two seasons in Western Sydney,” said Rudan.
“We welcome Dylan and his family to the Red & Black.”
