EFL Championship outfit QPR have announced the signing of Australian young gun Jaylan Pearman from Perth Glory.
Pearman moves to England following the conclusion of his Isuzu UTE A-League contract, where he will initially join QPR’s Development Squad.
The highly-rated forward will link up with another A-Leagues graduate at QPR – former Glory sensation Daniel Bennie.

“It feels amazing. It’s a lifelong dream to play in Europe, so it’s exciting to be here,” said Pearman.
“QPR are well-known for bringing in and bringing through young players, so it’s a good pathway for me in terms of any other club I could have gone to.
“It’s the right choice to come here.”
A product of the club’s academy, Pearman debuted for Glory’s senior side in January and went on to make 12 league appearances and score four goals under head coach David Zdrilic.
Pearman ended the season on a high with the April/May nomination for Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year, and won the Shark Player of the Month award for April/May after a fan vote.
At the club’s Most Glorious Player Awards in early May, Pearman was honoured with the DT38 Young Player of the Year award for his standout first season in the senior squad.

“At the start of the season I don’t think it even crossed my mind for anything like this to happen,” he said.
“Then January came and after my debut I was starting straight away. I hit the ground running really quickly and I’m very happy with how it went.”
On reconnecting with countryman Bennie, who departed Glory for QPR at the end of 2023-24, Pearman said: “I was on the phone to him almost every day after I found out about the possibility of coming here!
“He was very excited for me to come and his opinion helped make the decision as well.”

QPR CEO Christian Nourry said: “Jaylan is a rare profile of 8/10, with a capacity to regularly get highly-accurate shots off whilst having very small pockets of space to operate in.
“Fans can expect an all-action midfield talent who is constantly on the move.
“Widely considered as the stand-out breakthrough talent from the 2024/25 A-League season, I believe – like with every young player – Jaylan will need to be afforded time and patience as he adapts to his new surroundings and the physicality required to succeed in English football.”
