Melbourne Victory interim head coach Arthur Diles is unaware of any transfer speculation regarding Ryan Teague but the talented Australian would leave with his blessing should a move transpire.
Teague has flourished in the Isuzu UTE A-League since joining Victory ahead of the 2023-24 season, helping the Melbourne club reach last season’s Grand Final and he has carried that form into 2024-25.

“I hope so but if he doesn’t and something great comes for him, like any player, I wish him all the best,” Diles told reporters when asked if he thought Teague would remain at the club once the transfer window closes on February 12 following Friday night’s 2-0 win over rivals Sydney FC.
“That’s great for any player who has ambition and wants to continue pursuing a football career.
“But that’s news to me if there’s any talk.
“Ryan had a great game (against Sydney FC)… He is an important part of this team and he is important for the A-League because you want top Australian talent playing and young talent, and he fits that mould.”
