Adelaide United have announced the departure of club legend Ben Halloran after six years, 141 appearances and two trophies during a successful stint at the club.
Halloran exits the club ninth on the Reds’ all-time appearance list (141 games) and seventh on the club’s all-time goal scorers list (seven goals), to go with two Australia Cup triumphs and the 2020-21 Aurelio Vidmar Medal for Player of the Season.
The winger’s time in Adelaide sandwiched a seven-month stint in South Korea with FC Seoul.

“Adelaide United will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m grateful for all the amazing people that I have shared this journey with,” Halloran said.
“I would like to thank the club, the fans and my teammates for all their support and friendship during my time in this beautiful part of the world.”
Halloran, who has six Socceroos caps to his name, contributed four goals and six assists this season as the Reds finished eighth in the Isuzu UTE A-League.
“Ben has been an excellent servant to Adelaide United through the years,” Adelaide boss Carl Veart said.
