Warren Moon will open his first season as Brisbane Roar head coach with a clash with Wellington Phoenix at the club’s new home ground for the 2020/21 campaign – Dolphin Stadium in Redcliffe.
Moon stepped into the role left by Robbie Fowler after the competition’s restart and led the Queenslanders to the fourth-placed finish before falling to Western United in the Elimination Finals.
With their inspired veteran frontman Scott McDonald supported by sharp-shooter Dylan Wenzel-Halls and new recruit Joey Champness, the Roar will be aiming to take another step closer to the promised land next season.
