That’s a wrap for 2022-23!
The A-Leagues Fantasy season is done and dusted, with more than 15,000 teams playing along across both the Isuzu UTE A-League and Liberty A-League competitions combined.
As the first season of the new fantasy format comes to a close, KEEPUP looks back through the season that was to highlight the players who performed best as the A-League Men’s top fantasy assets.

Jamie Maclaren was the early scoring front-runner, but after a slow start to the season hampered by a short pre-season, it was Adelaide United captain Craig Goodwin who stormed ahead of the field to record 391 points for the season – far and away the highest total of any player in the game.
Maclaren was the only other player to eclipse the 300-point mark, scoring 305 for the season.
The list of the top 10 fantasy points scorers was dominated by midfielders and forward; Brandon Borrello came third behind Goodwin and Maclaren, then came Jay O’Shea, Jason Cummings, Marco Tulio, Joe Lolley, Ryan Kitto, Oskar Zawada and Marco Tilio to round out the top 10.
A special mention goes to Adelaide’s Kitto, who was classified as a midfielder despite occupying a defensive role in head coach Carl Veart’s system. Kitto’s 228-point tally for the season would have been considerably higher had he received a defensive classification at the beginning of the campaign.
