The Subway Joeys wrapped up their Italy camp with a 4-2 defeat against Inter’s Under-17 team in Milan.
Brisbane Roar sensation Quinn MacNicol and Perth Glory’s Christian Pullella both scored for the Joeys at the Konami Youth Development Centre on Tuesday.
Oskar Von Schrenk (Melbourne Victory), Malual Nichola (Adelaide United), Jayden Necovski (Melbourne City), Feyzo Kasumovic (Adelaide United), Alex Bolton (Perth Glory), Nickolas Alfaro (Sydney FC) and Aaron Cartwright (Melbourne City) also started alongside MacNicol and Pullella, while Hayden Thomas (Perth Glory), Besian Kutleshi (Melbourne City) and Rhys Williams (Brisbane Roar) came off the bench.

MacNicol came into the contest, having scored a brace in last week’s 4-3 win over Switzerland U16.
The 16-year-old, who became the youngest ever scorer in the 2023 Australia Cup and the third youngest to debut in the Isuzu UTE A-League, was on target again as he opened the scoring against Inter in the 10th minute.
Pullella restored Australia’s lead on the half-hour mark after Inter equalised three minutes earlier.
However, Inter proved too strong after scoring three unanswered goals.
